My story

Life rarely follows a straight path. I never set out to work in marketing, though looking back, I'd always been drawn to it before I knew what to call it. At 14, I taught myself to build websites. I was an early adopter on Twitter, naturally using it to build connections and grow communities. But at the time, these were just tools I used to connect with people – I didn't see them as the foundation of a career.

My passion was making an impact, which led me to pursue ministry. For a decade, I worked in the church, earning both my undergraduate and master's degrees along the way. I devoted myself to transforming lives through public speaking, leading large-scale initiatives, and building communities.

Unexpectedly, this path led me to discover my true calling. As I took on a marketing leadership role, I found myself perfectly positioned to blend my technical skills with my drive for impact – managing creative teams, scaling digital initiatives through streaming, web, and broadcast media, and crafting stories that moved people to action.

By 2016, I felt called to something bigger. I wanted to support changemakers beyond the church walls – to help organizations and founders amplify their mission and create impact at scale. That November, I launched my marketing consultancy, and I've been working independently ever since.

How I work

My approach is strategic and systems-driven, but it always starts with "why." Who are you serving? What value do you bring? How can we position you effectively? From there, we refine your strategy, eliminate waste, and implement tools that help you work smarter.

I'm particularly passionate about no-code solutions for optimizing operations. For many of my clients, these tools transform their entire workflow – allowing them to scale their impact while freeing up time for what matters most.

Who I help

I partner with social entrepreneurs, conscious founders, and mission-driven organizations who blend business growth with meaningful impact. My best work happens with people who are serious about scaling their reach and using marketing as a force for lasting change.

Beyond work

Rochester, NY is home, where I live with my wife (we met through music) and our two dogs. When I'm not helping clients, you'll find me exploring new coffee origins, experimenting with brew methods, or hunting down great coffee spots in every city I visit.

I currently serve as president of the American Advertising Federation of Greater Rochester and contribute to the Marketing & Communications Committee for the Rochester Area Community Foundation.
